  4. The Magnificent Moodies is not like the band's later work but is just a decent mid-sixties album – the singles featured here are much stronger material even though not big sellers at the time. Who knows what this line-up may have achieved with a couple more hits – but that could have meant we would never have had the band's Mark 2 catalogue /5().
